The Antico Palazzo Rospigliosi has been completely renovated in 2005. Re-opened this new look luxury hotel is called the Hotel Antico Palazzo Rospigliosi. The Hotel Rospigliosi is located in the former Palazzo Imperiali Borromeo, an ancient building dating back to the late Renaissance.
The building is the former residence of Giulio Rospigliosi who became Pope Clement IX in 1667. The property is located in the heart of the city centre right next to the church of Santa Maria Maggiore half way between Termini train station and the Coliseum. The 39 bedrooms at the Antico PalazzoRospigliosi are spacious, comfortable and well decorated, as well as very bright and entirely soundproofed. All rooms are equipped with all facilities such as en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, satellite color television, telephone with direct outside line, mini-bar and safe deposit box. From most rooms guests may enjoy a suggestive view over the internal courtyard and from the other rooms over the peaceful garden. All our rooms and bathrooms have been refurbished respecting the style and period of our hotel.
Restaurant: the hotel offers a restaurant which, beside to the breakfast service, gives prominence to the Italian cooking tradition through traditional dishes made with Mediterranean products.
