San Pietro Sopra le Acque - Massa Martana

San Pietro is an elegant and simple building which dates back to the beginnings of the 17th century. Surrounded by a large oak wood, it’s set
on a low hill with lovely views over the beautiful green countryside of Umbria.

It was built as a Capuchin Convent and with its small church it

became one of the most important religious and cultural centre of the area. At the half of the last century the ancient convent was restored and converted into an elegant country house. To its traditional features have been added modern
